What working together looks like.

We get to know your business, agree on what matters most, and take responsibility for turning the plan into working systems. You have one partner for the decisions, the delivery, and what happens next.

One partner who knows your business.

We spend time with your leadership and the people doing the work until we understand how the business actually runs. Then we make the technology decisions with you, and we deliver them.

Think of it as a CTO or Chief AI Officer, a development team, and a data team, rolled into one partner who helps you drive strategy and then executes on that strategy alongside you.

Your first month.

In most cases, we start the relationship by learning about and understanding your business. Think of it like onboarding a new executive team member. We’re going to want to learn and orient ourselves within the business before we start making decisions.

  1. Week 1

Understand the business. We meet your leadership and your team, and map your systems, your data, and where the money goes. You hear our first observations by the end of the week.

  2. Weeks 2 and 3

Find the opportunities, with an honest read on the data you have to work with.

  3. Week 4

Agree on priorities. You get our point of view on how to start thinking about AI & tech strategically and a roadmap that we can start executing against immediately.

  4. Month 2 & Beyond

Start delivering on the roadmap while continually updating it and helping to drive the company’s holistic technology strategy.

How the work moves.

Find your next advantage.

We look at where AI, and technology more broadly, can help you grow, serve customers better, and increase productivity. You get a clear plan in priority order, and we revisit it as the business changes.

Make it happen.

Some things are worth buying and some are worth building. We’ll tell you which, and we earn the same either way. If your data isn’t in good shape, that’s usually the first thing we fix. Before we build anything, we agree on one page what it will do and how we’ll both know it works.

Keep moving forward.

We run what we deploy and keep it current as the technology changes. You always know what’s running, what it costs, and what’s next.

One partner. One monthly retainer.

One flat monthly retainer covers the strategy, the building, and running what we build. Third-party costs like software, hosting, and AI usage are separate. We agree on them with you up front, and they sit in your own accounts so you can see exactly what you’re paying.

Importantly, we are NOT a dev shop. We don’t charge by the hour. We maintain a small number of clients per partner and charge a flat monthly retainer. This allows us to become a real extension of your team and think about what’s best for the business.

In other words, we have no incentive to “sell you more work”. If a $20 a month subscription will solve the problem, we’ll tell you that and help implement it. If we need custom software or AI agents, we’ll build those. But we’re always incentivized to do what’s best for the business. Not what racks up more billable hours.

The systems we build and implement for you are yours to keep. If priorities change, we’ll work through the scope together before anything changes. You can cancel on 30 days’ notice. So we have to earn our keep every month.

How the partnership runs.

  • Regular working time with your leadership, at a rhythm we agree on.
  • A short monthly report on what’s running and what we’d do next.
  • Priorities reviewed every month, and the roadmap revisited every quarter.

It works best as a real partnership, so we need three things from you:

  • A senior sponsor who can make decisions.
  • Access to your people, your systems, and your data.
  • Timely decisions, so the work keeps moving.

Questions we get.

Do we need our data in order first?

No. Honestly, most companies we talk to don’t have it in order yet, and that’s often where we start.

Will you replace our IT provider?

No. We work alongside them and can manage that relationship for you. Day-to-day IT support stays with them. Think of us as your CTO + dev team + data team. Not your IT provider.

Who will we work with?

A senior partner who owns the relationship with you, backed by our AI development team and associates.

Do you only do AI?

No. We pick whatever solves the problem: off-the-shelf software, custom software, better data, hardware, AI agents, etc. We’re technology generalists who can help you understand how to leverage the best tools available to solve your business problems. And then we can help you build and/or implement those tools.

What happens if we want to stop?

Give us 30 days’ notice. The systems we built and implemented for you are yours to keep, and we’ll set them up to run in your accounts.

Is this a fit for us?

We work best with middle-market companies that see technology as a way to grow and want a long-term partner to get there.
